UNDER 17 PREP FOR TOUGH SA RETURN MATCH

THE Zambia Under-17 Women National Team have continued shaping up for the India 2020 FIFA World Cup qualifier return leg against South Africa.
And assistant coach Naomi Phiri says the return leg against the Bantwana will be tough.

In an interview at Nkoloma Stadium after yesterday’s morning session, Phiri said Zambia had not taken the foot off the pedal despite carrying a 2-0 first leg lead.

She said that the team were treating the first leg as the first half of the game with the girls determined to finish off a wounded Bantwana in their backyard.

Zambia and South Africa lock horns on March 14 in South Africa to decide who qualifies to the next round of the India 2020 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
Winner between Zambia and South Africa will play Namibia or Botswana.
Zambia carries a 2-0 lead from the first leg played at Nkoloma Stadium.
