The District COVID19 Multi-sectoral committee identified the two places as quarantine centre as a proactive step.

The DC said people coming in the district from Lusaka were followed up and encouraged to be in self quarantine for the period of 14 days.
“We are doing everything possible to ensure compliance with the measures pronounced by His Excellence Dr Edgar Chagwa Lungu and the Minister of Health, Chitalu Chilufya,” Mr Ngoma said.

He advised non-essential workers to operate from their homes as directed by Secretary to the cabinet, Dr Simon Miti.
