PF was a better government than UPND, says Munalula Moola

By ROGERS KALERO

THERE is no doubt that the Patriotic Front (PF) under former President Edgar Lungu was a better government because the last two years of the UPND administration has seen many Zambians condemned into deeper poverty and miseries, Munalula Moola has said.

Mr Moola, the Copperbelt PF media director says the UPND leadership was exhibiting hostility towards the former ruling party because it had realised that Zambians were as a matter of fact disappointed with the new dawn administration.

Mr Moola said the UPND should come to terms that the PF shall remain a popular and peoples political organisation and should swallow its pride and accept the fact that the former ruling party had a well-defined programme of economic recovery and national development.

He said former President Edgar Lungu had continued to attract a huge crowd each time he appeared in public because he was a good leader with a kind heart.

Mr Moola said the increased hostility towards the PF and the former President by the UPND leadership was making the ruling party appear a hateful, vengeful, retributive and divisive political organization superintending over the governance of the country.

He said Zambians were not interested in political acrimony, but were waiting for President Hakainde Hichilema to fulfil his campaign promises of reduced mealie meal prices and other campaign promises.

Mr Moola said the PF and former President Lungu were becoming more popular by the day than the UPND government because Zambians had realised that the governing party campaigned on propaganda and lies which were now catching up with them.

“The truth of the matter is that the PF was a far much better government than the UPND which has been waffling from the time it formed government. So, the best the UPND can do is to swallow its pride and accept that the PF was a well organised government.”
