Expedite delimitation process – Kalindawalo

EXPEDITE the delimitation process of constituencies to propel the much needed development in rural communities, Senior Chief Kalindawalo of the Nsenga-speaking people has advised.
Senior Chief Kalindawalo expressed concern on the vastness of Petauke Central Constituency and that the delimitation process was the answer.
He said the delimitation process of constituencies should be seen as a catalyst to propel development in rural communities.
He was speaking on Sunday at his palace in Petauke when a delegation of civil society leaders from Lusaka paid a courtesy call on him,
“People want electricity beyond supply lines which cover areas around our two palaces. The vastness of the constituency makes it difficult for people from all four corners to receive a fair share of development,” Senior Chief Kalindawalo said.
Meanwhile, Senior Chief Kalindawalo has thanked President Lungu and his administration for delivering a state-of-the-art Kalindawalo General Hospital and a modern Edgar Chagwa Lungu Technical School.
He said education and healthcare were two of the most important needs that every rural child and family required.
“Health posts have been constructed in villages but the ultra-modern General Hospital and the Edgar Lungu Technical School has given us an opportunity to live healthy lives and for our children to learn under a very conducive environment,” Senior Chief Kalindawalo said.
