John Nyoka offloads ‘True Story’

INSPIRED by the likes of Nas and JayZ, South Africa-based upcoming artiste John Nyoka has two new singles for the year 2020 titled ‘True Story’ and ‘Nabwela’.
Born on 1st of November, 1992, the young rapper who grew up in Chunga of Lusaka and now based in Weinberg, Cape Town said his love for music started while following the passion his two elder brothers Eli-Verse and Bonface Nyoka had in music.
“My big brother Bornface owned Rapzden Entertenment where he helped sponsor many now famous Zambian artistes and my other brother Eli-Verse who sings even now,” said Nyoka.
The young rapper said his songs all relate to life events.
He said despite him being outside Zambia, his songs still have a 100 per cent touch of the local Zambian issues.
“I have done about six songs so far. Songs like ‘Faka Faka Manja’, ‘She Says She Wants’, ‘Looking For’ and my two singles for the year 2020, ‘True Story’ and ‘Nabwela’,” he explained adding that he does not yet have an album but promoting singles.
