ZAMBIAN actress Sophia Chapeshamano famously known from the Zambezi Magic Channel family telenovala ‘Zuba’ says she was impressed with Dubai’s hospitality industry in her recent visit to UAE Dubai.

Chapeshamano who was a special guest alongside the main artise Nigerian Afrobeat sensation D’Banj at the AfroZons Dubai Soundoff tourism event held early this month said she was particularly impressed with the hospitality and service of the Hollywood-themed Paramount Hotel.

“The rooms were so beautiful and the hotel itself has many amenities that leave you speechless. There are spa and gym facilities although I didn’t get to go to them because of the busy itinerary but they are gorgeous,” She said.

“There is so much diversity with an international and friendly staff Brandon who was at reception and Mina both stood out with their politeness and just making us feel at home while we were there!
Not forgetting, they have a gorgeous Hollywood theme and the hotel greets you with an incredible fragrance when you get in. Definitely worth a visit when in Dubai again.”

Inspired by the rich history of Paramount Pictures, the hotel is set centre stage in the heart of Dubai’s dynamic Business Bay District, 16 km near the Dubai International Airport. With Hollywood-themed rooms, and Californian inspired cuisine and unequivocal entertainment, you can script your own story at the Paramount Hotel.

The hotel has a private cinema, time capsule and stage for live entertainment, the Paramount Screening Room pays homage to the historical magic of motion pictures and quintessential Paramount classics. Home to movies, stand-up comedy, live music and theatre productions, this intimate space is indeed a film lovers dream.

The Paramount Hotel was home to Afrozons, RivExcel, Africa Media as well as winners from various countries. This included Zambians as wells as Africa Media Zambian representative Bwalya Phakathi. This trip was made possible courtesy of Dubai’s Department for Economy and Tourism.
