K65M saga, PF to move motion of censure against Milupi

By NATION REPORTER
WE are going to move a motion of censure against Infrastructure Minister Charles Milupi for misleading the House that he had produced the deposit slip involving the K65 million seized from Faith Musonda, Leader of Opposition in Parliament Brian Mundubile has said.
Mr Mundubile said the MPs would commence the motion because Mr Mulupi lied about the deposit slips on the floor of Parliament.
He said he saluted Finance and National Planning Minister Situmbeko Musokotwane who had taken leave because he did not want to present falsehoods concerning the K65 million.
“We are going to move a motion of censure against honourable Charles Milupi for lying that he presented the deposit slip of the K65 million which was forfeited by Faith Musonda,” Mr Mundubile said.
Mr Mundubile said the Finance Minister was an honourable man who refused to tarnish his image by presenting such falsehoods.
He said other ministers should begin to emulate Dr Musokotwane who stood his ground and did not allow to be used in such a manner.
Mr Mundubile said the minister thought the MPs would not go through the documents only to discover that they were fake.
He said it was for this reason that they decided to take action against Mr Milupi for his deceit.
