‘NAKACINDA, OTHERS BITTER’ – NOTHING GOOD CAN COME OUT OF BITTER PF OFFICIALS WHO ARE NURSING AN ELECTION DEFEAT – MWIKISA

By SIMON MUNTEMBA

RAPHAEL Nakacinda and his fellow PF officials can never say anything good about the new dawn government because they have not yet recovered from the humiliating electoral defeat and are still in a politically intoxicated mind, the ruling UPND has said.

On Monday at a press briefing, Mr Nakacinda, a PF member of the central committee, claimed that there was grand corruption in the new dawn government.

Mr Nakacinda also charged that four ministers in the new dawn government are stinking rich because they have corruptly amassed wealth within three months in office.

But UPND Copperbelt youth spokesperson, Sam Mwikisa said there was nothing good that PF officials could say about the ruling party because they were bitter with the August 12, 2021 election loss. “The opposition is currently not in their sound minds to give reasonable views as they have not yet recovered from the effects of losing the 2021 general elections,” he said.

Mr Mwikisa said the PF have condemned everything about UPND, including the balanced appointment of Permanent Secretaries out of bitterness.

“People like Mr Nakacinda and his friends are still in a politically intoxicated mind and can’t see any good things from the appointments especially that the person they insulted day and night is the appointing authority,” Mr Mwikisa said.

He encouraged Zambians not to take the opposition seriously but focus on what the government was doing to build the nation.

Mr Mwikisa said that the new dawn government should be commended for trying hard to unite the nation through increased Community Development Fund from allocation from K1.6 million to K25. 7 million, free education, balanced government appointments and prioritising of Zambians in everything among other policies.

“We also want to use this opportunity to thank President Hichilema for appointing qualified men and women capable of delivering the UPND manifesto in the new dawn government,” he said.
