Returning home with Covid-19

Dear Editor,
WELCOMING our brothers and sisters returning home from India and other parts of the world, I think could have made much more sense if they had thought of returning home before the onset of Covid-19 in Zambia.
To the front line health workers and government I want to say we are firmly behind you. At the pain of fighting for a just cause for mother Zambia, you will certainly not avoid critics.
As a gallant fighter, you will need to ignore critics and focus your eyes on the enemy. Remember you cannot harvest a gram of honey by focusing on the bee stings.
And yes, the elections fever is slowly warming up. But sadly we will need people to vote and we cannot peacefully vote without putting Covid-19 to rest.
‘CONCERNED CITIZEN’,
Kasama.
