'GBM IS A COWARD'

GEOFFREY Bwalya Mwamba is the biggest coward ever who cannot dare the police to arrest him now, when he went into hibernation immediately UPND leader, Hakainde Hichilema was arrested, former UPND deputy spokesperson, Edwin Lifwekelo has charged.

Mr Mwamba is alleged to have questioned why the police did not arrest him when he was part of the entourage during an incidence in Mongu which led to the incarceration of Mr Hichilema.

But Mr Lifwekelo said Mr Mwamba was a coward, who had gone into hiding immediately Mr Hichilema was arrested.

He wondered why the UPND vice-president for administration would today want to be a hero when he was in hibernation for over three months.

Mr Lifwekelo pointed out that Mr Mwamba was trying to blindfold Mr Hichilema, who was recently released from prison that he had been on top of things during his absence.

He said in an interview with the Daily Nation that Mr Mwamba, popularly known as GBM, should have dared the police to also arrest him immediately Mr Hichilema was picked up.

Mr Lifwekelo said that Mr Mwamba was a coward who had failed to provide leadership to his party when his boss was away.

“GBM is just a coward, why did he not dare the police to arrest him immediately Hakainde was picked up. He instead went into hibernation for close to three months, even their chairperson Mutale Nalumango confirmed that he was in hiding for fear of being arrested,” he said.

Meanwhile, Mr Lifwekelo advised Mr Mwamba to tone down and focus on real issues because time for politicking was long gone.

He reiterated that it was too late for Mr Mwamba to focus on gaining political mileage when his cowardice was no longer a secret.

He warned that Mr Mwamba should not blame anyone when the police, he had being daring, took a swipe at him.
