Zambia, Namibia to partner in goat export deal

By SILUMESI MALUMO
WE shall partner with Namibia to mobilise required goats to export to Saudi Arabia because the country will not manage to provide one million animals every month, Livestock and Fisheries Minister Nkandu Luo has said.
Professor Luo said the deal to start exporting the goats to Saudi Arabia would be finalised soon as Zambia and Namibia would ensure that the required goats were mobilised for export.
Prof Luo, who is also Munali Constituency Member of Parliament, said Government decided to partner with Namibia because of inadequate goats to meet the Saudi Arabia monthly demand.
