Alice Musukwa to represent Zambia at ‘Mrs World’

By TERENCE MISELO

ZAMBIAN international model, business woman and political blogger Alice Rowland Musukwa has earned a spot at the Mrs World 2022 competition to take place in Las Vegas, United States of America.

The Miss Universe 2010 winner was recently named Mrs World Zambia 2021, a move that automatically qualifies her to represent Zambia at the global stage.

Mrs World is a prestigious beauty pageant that involves married women hence the title ‘ Mrs’. It draws worldwide participation and Alice is proud to get this big chance to represent Zambia.

“My manager Dr. Mwape thought I was the strongest married model she could send for Mrs World, she submitted 10 applications including mine and the organization thought I was a strong hold to represent Zambia as the first ever Mrs World,” she said.

Asked on how she is rating herself, Alice said she is going there for a win.

“My chances are high, I am more confident, positive, prepared and courageous, I am well informed and time has groomed me to be the best version of myself so I am going there with the heart of a win and not the usual follower of other countries.”

She says she is highly motivated to do what she does and thanks her followers.

“What motivated me was the fact that many give up on their dreams after being married, they always feel marriage is the last station to life. I want to be an example to women from the age of 28 to 50 that age is just a number and you can live your life to the fullest,” she said.

“To My followers, I love them and their overwhelming support as just given me another reason to point in my 101% win attitude.

I respect my followers because without them there is no Alice Musukwa, we have a hate-love relationship that can be toxic at times but it makes us grow together and I just appreciate them so much. Bamanivuta but that’s how we love each other.”
