UPND president Hakainde Hichilema has wished Vice President Inonge Wina, who tested positive of Covid 19, a quick recovery.
Ms Wina is the latest high profile politician to test positive for the virus after Lusaka Province Minister Bowman Lusambo last month, Health Minister Chitalu Chilufya and Dora Siliya from Information and Broadcasting in May this year.
Mr Hichilema said yesterday that he was glad that the Republican Vice President had come out in the open to announce her condition to the nation.
He said it was prudent that Ms Wina recovered as soon as possible so that she could continue to serve the nation.
“We wish her Honour the Vice President Mad- am Inonge Wina, who has been diagnosed with Covid 19, a speedy recovery.
On Wednesday President Edgar Lungu in a statement announced that Ms Wina had been diagnosed with Covid-19.
