Lusaka lawyer donates masks to SDA church

LUSAKA lawyer, Dickson Jere has donated masks and hand sanitizers to the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church in Matero constituency and urged the church leadership to take leading role in educating people on Covid-19.
Mr Jere, who is also founder of the Matero Initiative Project, said praised the SDA Church for their role in transforming youths though the pathfinder initiative which brings out good citizens. He said the SDA members have continued being a good example in society through their good behavior.
“We need to be vigilant and educate our people on the dangers of coronavirus. Matero has been one of the hot spots where cases of deaths due to Covid-19 have been recorded,” Jere said when he addressed the Church at Kasamba congregation. Mr Jere said through his Matero Initiative, he has donated over 10,000 masks to schools, hospitals, marketsand churches in Matero since the outbreak of coronavirus. He said he will roll out another 5,000 masks next week in Matero.
