FORMER Special Assistant to the President for Press and Public Relations Amos Chanda has urged the people of Muchinga Province to register as voters in numbers.

Speaking when he attended a fundraising church service at UCZ Lubwa Congregation in Chinsali, Mr Chanda said the only solution to defending power was to register in numbers and to vote wisely.
He said that for people to elect credible leaders, a voter’s card was key.
Mr Chanda also said Muchinga Province was a big stronghold and that needed to be shown through the voter registration turn out.
He urged citizens in Muchinga Province to take the voter registration seriously and take it as priority.
He told the church that he was now relocating to Chinsali in which he will be conducting some development project through a foundation which he founded in which Senior Chief Nkula is a Patron.
And Chinsali DC Mary Witika urged parents to consider voter registration as key as opposed to picking caterpillars.
