…NAPSA has not bought Chrismar Hotel

THE NATIONAL Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) has dismissed media reports suggesting that it had purchased Chrismar Hotel in Lusaka.

NAPSA head of corporate affairs, Cephas Sinyangwe, said the organisation had no intention of purchasing Chrismar Hotel.
“We would like to inform members of the public that the said purchase has not taken place and will not take place. The allegations are therefore false and must be disregarded,” Mr Sinyangwe.
He said NAPSA had communicated its position to Harberton Limited, the owners of the property.
In August this year, it was again reported that NAPSA was purchasing Chrismar Hotel at US$18 million, a story which the organisation dismissed as a lie.
On Tuesday, a daily tabloid repeated the same story, which NAPSA has branded as fake
