GOOD politicians should not just make noise on social media, but should identify the needs of the people and proceed to help them so that their lives are improved and lifted to acceptable standards, PF national chairman for mobilisation Richard Musukwa has said

Mr Musukwa said the Patriotic Front leadership has been very supportive to churches and the communities through various donations because it believed that helping the church was investing in the works of God
Mr Musukwa, who is Chililabombwe Member of Parliament and Minister of Mines and Mineral Development was speaking yesterday at the fund raising breakfast for the construction of the new church building at Ndeke United Church of Zambia (UCZ) congregation in Kitwe
Mr Musukwa donated a K100, 000 towards the construction of the new building, a K20, 000 towards the construction of the ablution block and another K30, 000 towards the upkeep of the reverend
He urged the congregants and Christians in general to support the works of the church as doing so was investing in God’s work
“Any good leader will not waste time insulting on social media, but will get on the ground to find what is affecting the people and find solutions to those problems and challenges. This is why as Patriotic Front chairman of mobilisation, I thought I should attend this occasion and support the construction of the new church building
And Ndeke UCZ congregation reverend Weston Simwinga said he was grateful for the support the church has been receiving from various political leaders of the ruling party.
Rev Simwinga said the church will always support the government of the day and provide counsel to them in challenging times so that they could provide quality leadership
