TONGA CHIEF WANTS PF BEYOND 2021

By MULENGA MUSONDA
LET the Patriotic Front (PF) government go beyond 2021 so that they can finish the developmental projects they have embarked on, Chief Cooma has said.

Chief Cooma of Southern Province commended the government for the massive developments around the country.
He said this when Lusaka Province Minister Bowman Lusambo paid a courtesy call at his palace in Choma.
The traditional leader expressed happiness at the visible development of the government and charged that only someone with visual impairment cannot see how the country has developed.
“ Mr Lusambo, I was driving in Lusaka and these days I can’t drive, there are so many roads, some roads there are on top…there is development, whoever is saying there is no development in PF maybe he is a bit blind.
“We congratulate what is happening in our country, I’m sure we cannot develop the country in one day, no. I wish you the PF to go through even in 2021 so that you can go up to 2026, am happy for this development so that you can finish your journey,” Chief Cooma said
And Mr Lusambo took time to denounce tribalism in the country and hinted on standing as a Member of Parliament for Choma Central Constituency as sign that Zambia belongs to everyone regardless of tribe.
“My message to those people who think Southern Province belongs to the UPND, I want to assure them that it is just like any other province and we are all Zambians,” he said
