KANKOYO lawmaker Heartson Mabeta has described the shooting of the 15-year-old boy by the Zambia National service (ZNS) as unfortunate.
Mr Mabeta said he will ensure that officers involved are brought to book.
He said, he has engaged a private lawyer to represent the family in court.
Chrispin Bunda, who was a pupil at Twampane Primary school,was short dead by ZNS officers during anti mealie meal smuggling operation in Kankoyo Township in Mufulira on the yesterday.
Mr Mbate said the criminality and violation of human rights by ZNS has to be investigated and the rule of law must prevail.
He said ZNS has no right to invade a private property as they over stepped their boundaries.
