KITWE UPND PREACHES UNITY

By SANFROSSA MANYINDA

LET us bury all our differences and put the interests of the party first, United Party for National Development (UPND) Kitwe District chairperson Shadreck Chitaba has urged members in Kwacha Constituency.

Mr Chitaba said this was not the time for members to continue pointing fingers at each other, but work together for the common goal.

He said the members should always focus on campaigning and ensuring that party president Hakainde Hichilema emerges cictorious in the August 12 polls.

Mr Chitaba was speaking when he met the Kwacha constituency leadership at the UPND Riverside secretariat on Tuesday.

“Let there be unity as we prepare for the forthcoming elections because only unity will see us get to where we want to be after August.

“We may differ in opinions but now is not the time to start fighting one another. Let us embrace each other and learn to tolerate each other more than ever,” he said.

Mr Chataba said Zambians were looking upto the UPND to redeem the country, a mission that could not be possible if the members were not united.

He said the party needed to remain popular on the ground and mobilise the party so that the party could win big.

Mr Chataba urged all the youth in the constituency to get involved in mobilising the party without fail.

He also advised candidates to accelerate their campaign programmes so as to reach to many people in the constituency.
