WE will not tolerate Members of Parliament and Cabinet Ministers demeaning President Lungu while embracing misguided ambitions to bring confusion in the party, PF member Julius Komaki has warned.

And Mr. Komaki has challenged Harry Kalaba, Chishimba Kambwili, and Mwenya Musenge to tell Zambians exactly what they did to develop the country during their tenure of office instead of projecting themselves as messiahs now that they are no longer in government.

Speaking to the Daily Nation yesterday, Mr. Komaki said the PF youths had watched with dismay the increasing truancy and hypocrisy by senior people in the party who were pretending to be loyal to President Edgar Lungu while scheming on how to oust him from his position but warned that come 2021, heads will roll.

He said the PF almost paid a premium for floating Mr. Musenge in 2016 in the Chimwemwe seat in Kitwe under its ticket as he was not only rejected by the grassroots but that the voting pattern may have affected the total presidential vote due to his failure to serve the people.

“We are going to take stock of what is happening and whoever is not loyal to the party and the President will not be picked in 2021. We will ensure that MPs are picked on merit because that is the mistake we made with people like Mr. Musenge.

“Whoever is not helping the party and the President in their constituencies will not have it easy this time around and whoever is playing mickey-mouse with the President will be grounded,” Mr. Komaki warned.

He charged that the “disgruntled rot” which was scheming to create more confusion in the party will not have it easy now and during the 2021 elections.

“The youth will not be bought or sold for a morsel of bread but will ensure that those who are not doing anything for the party and the people of Zambia will never stand on the PF’s ticket.

“We know which individuals have a hidden agenda and who is peddling the ideals of the cartel just to hold this party and Government to ransom. We are watching them and must take this as a timely and friendly warning. Some of them have now become millionaires which was not the case before they were elected. We don’t want greedy leaders. We want leaders who have the heart for the people,” Mr. Komaki said.

Mr. Komaki challenged NDC leaders and their sympathisers to tell the nation what new ideas they had brought to the political landscape when they failed in their previous portfolios.

“Which youths did Mr. Kambwili and Mr. Musenge empower on the Copperbelt during the time they were in power? Which youths did Mr. Kalaba empower when he was Foreign Affairs Minister serve for those who were close to him?
