THIS is not the right time to change leadership because the current Government has delivered development across the country, says former PF National youth chairman Eric Chanda.
Mr. Chanda said he would make sure that he defended the Patriotic Front (PF) and ensure victory in the August election.
He said this is because the PF was a working Government which had transformed Zambia into a better country.
Mr Chanda however urged PF members to start mobilizing the party especially from the grassroots and understand the challenges the people were facing.
He also announced his intension to contest the Munali parliamentary and pledged hard work, saying he has the heart for people in the constituency.
Mr Chanda, who addressed ward officials from Chankukula and Kalingalinga wards, appealed to party members to continue with the spirit of togetherness.
He said from the time PF took power, Zambia has seen unprecedented development such as improved road infrastructure, health and education sectors.
Mr Chanda donated K 100,000 to both Chankukula and Kalingalinga wards for logistics and mobilization of the party.
He said President Lungu deserved another term of office in order to continue with the development agenda.
“This is not the to start thinking of changing leadership, I will ensure that I work hard and defend the party at all level, therefore I declare my intensions to stand on the PF ticket under Munali seat,” Mr Chanda said.
