Ms Silucha, who was wearing a neck collar and has been referred to the University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka for specialised treatment informed the court that the two divorced.

Her evidence was backed by her mother when she also testified on how she found her daughter lying on the ground after the alleged assault and insisted before the court that there was no marriage between the two..
