KABWE Warriors FC says it has prepared adequately and is ready for the 2017 MTN/FAZ Super league which kicks off this weekend.

Warriors head coach Chintu Kampamba said the team had engaged other teams in the supper league to prepare for the new season.

Speaking in an interview with Daily Nation Sports in Lusaka, Kampamba said as head coach he was delighted with his team that has been assembled ahead of the 2017 Super league.

“We are ready and we will see when the league resumes on how well we have prepared but we are ready as we played some friendly games with other super league teams,” he said.

“I’m very confident of the team we have assembled. The input the players are putting in during trainings is very encouraging. It is fantastic to work with the current crop of players I’m sure they will be able to enjoy the league when its resumes this weekend,” he said.

Warriors have acquired the services of a number of players including two Power Dynamos players in readiness for the 2017 MTN/FAZ Super League.

The duo of former Chipolopolo midfielder William Njovu and James Chibwe joined the Zambia Railways- sponsored side on permanent basis.
