ZAMBIAN midfielder, Chisamba Lungu, is pushing for his return to Russian side Ural, saying that is where his heart is.

Lungu last August signed a three-year contract with Turkish Super Lig side Alanyaspor from Ural but had little game time.

But the Chipolopolo winger, in an interview, said he wanted to return to Ural where his career would flourish.

He rubbished reports that he had failed in Turkey attributing his stint feature for Alanyaspor to personal reasons.

He emphasised that he was still in form and will prove so when he is back at Ural.

“I have nothing much to say about the other club Alanyaspor. And I should make it clear that I did not fail in Turkey but faced personal challenges which I can’t disclose, “he said

“My desire is to return to Ural, that’s where my heart is. If it works out in my favour, then it will be a good 2018 season for me,” he said.

Asked on his 2018 target for the national team, Lungu refused to talk about the Chipolopolo and said his aim was to help the club succeed.

He said he would strive to be better than he was last year and improve his scoring ability.

“About the national team, I have no comment. I want to do better at club level especially for Ural,” he said.

And Lungu said he will use his time off the pitch to encourage talent among young ones in enhancing their
development.
