THE ruling Patriotic Front (PF) in North Western Province has written to Electoral Commission Zambia (ECZ) to complain about the conduct of on of its officials in Mushindamo.

The named official was part of the team of ECZ officials during the just ended by elections in Mushindamo.

It is alleged that before the elections, the official conducted himself unprofessionally during the training workshop organised by the commission for participating political parties.

The officials during the totalling of the results at the totalling centre, was said to have influenced the admission of a suspect and allegedley cooked up GN12 from the  opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) to contrast the official one that was submitted by the presiding officer from Sobonto polling station.

The official is further alleged  to have taken over, against electoral procedure and acted as if he was the Returning Officer, Presiding Officer and Judge by making pronouncements that the results shown on GN12 by the presiding officer appointed by the commission were not authentic but those that were produced by the UPND agents.

Further, the party has complained about the official having run away with ballot boxes for Mushindamo by elections even before verification was done.

The party has since demanded for thorough investigation on the behaviour of the electoral official who PF claimed acted unprofessionally and impartially before, during and after the Mushindamo council chairperson by elections.
