Kambwili insults deplorable

Dear Editor,

The language used by Chishimba Kambwili and subsequently published in one of the local tabloids was totally unZambian, and indeed the Bemba saying that pa nsaka tapabula inchipuba, is very true. He is the chipuba who speaks without thinking. No sane person or publication could use such words. They go to the characters of the individuals. They are unschooled and lack morals.

Zambia Police a letdown

Dear Editor,

Those 11 accused arsonists who burnt City Market were suspected UPND cadres but surprisingly there was no evidence to link them to the crime. It seems their suspicions were based on assumptions and not investigations. Ba Zambia Police!!!

City Market inferno

Dear Editor,

Failed system of bringing justice to people. How do you announce who committed the crime even before investigations are over and later let them go scot-free. This nation, where are we going with this mediocrity by our police? Someone is being used to do the bad things and no wonder they are saying it’s political.

Checks and balances

Dear Editor,

Providing checks and balances to the government of the day is not a crime and talking the truth is not a sin either. But alarming the situation, insulting especially the president and disobeying orders are serious criminal offences.

Regional politics

 Dear Editor,

The stories about Zambia drifting into regional politics make sad reading. These are the issues that those who are wasting time on trying to infringe on people’s rights by enacting retrogressive laws such as limiting the number of times an opposition presidential candidate appears on the ballot paper should be paying attention to.

Is Kalaba not PF?

Dear Editor,

PF really surprises me. Is Kalaba not PF? And why develop Bahati now when it has been your baby all along. You want to develop Bahati just to punish Kalaba, how? Then punish all MPs in Zambia by developing their constituencies.

Kambwili should watch his step

Dear Editor,

Someone should advise Chishimba Kambwili that it is always much easier to land in problems than to get out. It sound nice to play to the gallery but at the end he will be alone to face the legal music which may land him in prison. I have heard him say he is not afraid of prison life. Obviously he has not been there. Prison life is nasty in all manner no matter how brave you are.
