Kambwili lying over lifting of injunction – Mumbi

By PETER SICHALI

NO court order has lifted the injunction of Chishimba Kambwili as the ex-parte order merely stays proceedings, NDC vice president Edward Mumbi has said.

Mr Mumbi has threatened to commence contempt proceedings if Mr Kambwili continues presenting himself as NDC president.

The Ndola High Court has stayed the ex- parte order where the expelled officials of the NDC Mr. Joseph Rikki Akafumba, Ms Bridget Atanga and others took Mr Kambwili to court saying that he was masquerading as party president.

Mr Mumbi however warned Mr Kambwili to stop misleading the public by deliberately misinterpreting the court order.

He advised Mr Kambwili to stop embarrassing the courts with his deliberate misinterpretations of their orders.

“Mr Kambwili is a pathological liar,” Mr Mumbi said.

Mr Mumbi said Mr Kambwili’s lawyers have already been informed to stop their client from discrediting a court order.

And NDC Media Director Emmanuel Malite said Mr Kambwili cannot be trusted because he does not mean well for the country.

Mr Malite said President Edgar Lungu should not ta

ke Mr Kambwili’s apology seriously because the embattled leader was not trustworthy.
