ONLY those that are remorseful and in good books with the ruling party will have their suspensions lifted and not the rebels, PF Lusaka Province chairperson Kennedy Kamba has said. In an interview, Mr Kamba said his committee would not lift the suspensions imposed on members who had continued to scandalise the party and its leadership.
He said much as there was no need to hold grudges against each other, the party would not lift suspensions imposed on ‘‘rebel’’ members. “However, it must be noted that only those that are remorseful and in good books with the party will have their suspensions lifted.
Some of the members that have rebelled against the party, and constantly insulting the leadership will not be considered,” Mr Kamba said. While in Kafue addressing PF members recently, Mr Kamba said there was no need to hold grudges because it would have a negative impact on the party.
He said he had decided to lift the suspensions imposed on members in the province to promote unity in the party. Mr Kamba also reminded those whose suspensions would be lifted to uphold high levels of discipline.
