TWO Zambia Army soldiers, a ZAF office assistant and a traditional healer have been sentenced to death by hanging for the gruesome ritual killings of seven men in Matero Township,five years ago.
Zambia Army soldier Lucky Siame, Lewis Chishimba Bwalya a traditional healer, Christopher Kasapo, a ZAF office assistant and Elvis Nyanga, a soldier of Solwezi were charged with seven counts of murder.
The four are alleged to have murdered Clever Changwe Mwape, William Chela, Elias Phiri, Alex Zulu, Boris Muzumara, Amon Sichamba and Anthony Mwaba between March 5 and April 16, 2016.
The victims were killed in similar fashion by removing their privates parts and other internal organs.
The convicts however denied all the charges.
Lusaka High Court judge Florence Lengalenga pronounced a mandatory sentence on the four at 17:40 hours today.
