Lupososhi Chiefs empowered with egg incubators

The Presidential empowerment initiative has empowered three chiefs in Lupososhi District of Northern Province with egg incubators.

Northern Province Minister Chungu Bwalya who delivered the incubators on behalf of the Edgar Chagwa Lungu Multi-Purpose Empowerment Cooperative said the President values the contribution of traditional leaders in the development process of the country.

Mr. Bwalya said the President knows that empowering chiefs is critical to the development of as they also share the benefits with their subjects.

He further advised the Chiefs to encourage their subjects to form cooperative so that they can also benefit from the empowerment s fund.

“You should encourage your subjects to join cooperatives so that they can also benefit from the Presidential Empowerment funds that other people are benefiting from,” he said.

Mr Bwalya further called on the traditional leaders to keep the incubators well and put them to good use.

And speaking on behalf of the traditional leaders, Chief Katuta thanked the President for empowering them with the incubators.

He said the empowerment will go a long way in improving their lives and well-being of subjects. The traditional leader further asked all Zambians to support President Lungu as he has proven that he is cares for the people.

“There has never been a President I n this country who has showed so much care to  traditional leaders than President Lungu,” he said

Meanwhile, Chief Chabula also encouraged opposition political leaders in this country to stop cheap politics.

He said the President has delivered the much needed development across the country.

“Those who are opposing President Lungu’s leadership, what are they going to bring if they come to power because the President has delivered development everywhere,” he said.

The traditional leader further thanked the provincial minister for making sure that people in the rural parts of province are not left out of the presidential empowerments.
