MKAIKA ASPIRANT YUDA TEMBO DONATES CEMENT TO CHURCH IN KATETE

By NATION REPORTER

PF Mkaika Constituency parliamentary aspiring candidate, Yuda Tembo has donated 40 bags of cement to St. Martin Outstation in Katete.

Mr Tembo said the donated cement was part of his little contribution towards construction of the fence which the church has embarked on.

He hoped that the 40  bags of cement will make a difference to the fence project which is said to have stalled due to some financial constraints.

He added that the growth of the church entirely depends on the congregants that is why he felt it was also his responsibility by using his resources to donate towards the construction of the fence around the church. Mr. Tembo was in the company of his advisor John Zulu and Mkaika ward councilor Martha Phiri Who is vying for the position of council chairpersonship in the August poll.

And St. Martin Outstation Chairperson Michael Phiri thanked Mr. Tembo for the donation adding that once completed, the fence will enhance security at the church.

He said the project had stalled due to some financial constraints the church was faced with adding that unknown people have been vandalizing  church property due to the absence of a fence at the church.

He wished Mr. Tembo God’s blessings as he aspired to become Mkaika Constituency Member of Parliament in the August poll.
