KAMANGA HAILS HELPFUL UEFA

FAZ president Andrew Kamanga has hailed UEFA for helping the association with a Toyota Hiace bus worth $51, 000 and mentoring FAZ Executive committee members during a two days high level management orientation workshop at Bonanza Hotel in Lusaka.

Kamanga said the high level management orientation facilitated by UEFA Head of International Relations Eva Pasquier is a starting point to achieving great results.

Kamanga said his executive has prioritised capacity building as one area which will help the association deliver to the expectations of the membership.

Kamanga said FAZ is committed to creating solid partnerships in its drive to develop football.

Kamanga also hinted that FAZ is in talks with UEFA and partners to introduce equipment that will improve the quality of Football county wide. Kamanga said FAZ is determined to get to a point where in can deploy technology to develop the Zambian game.

Meanwhile, Pasquier, who is representing a programme called “Assist” said UEFA seeks to promote relations with continents from which they benefit most in terms of players.

Pasquier who was with former Public Relations Manager at the Scottish Football Association Kenny Macleod and Roger Meichtry (technical) said that UEFA will provide technical assistance and support to FAZ in other areas such as marketing.
