The criminals broke into house number 7 College Road town centre in the early hours of yesterday around 04: 00hours and hacked Harriet Kanyembo who sustained multiple head injuries and her son, Moses Mulenga aged 14 who sustained a swollen head and broken skull.

“An axe handle is alleged to have been used to inflict the injuries on the children, while the mother was injured using an unknown sharp instrument,” Mr Chushi said

Mr Chushi said Chingola recorded one case of aggravated robbery on June 2, 2021 at around 04.00hours at House number Seven College road town centre in which Joseph Mulenga aged 40 reported to the Police on 2.6.21 that whilst he was out for work,  unknown criminals broke into his house and hacked his wife and four sons thereby sustaining cuts on the head and swollen head respectively.
