THE continued support by Government to vulnerable groupings despite the biting economy due to the Covid-19 pandemic is lifting thousands out of poverty by ensuring more money flows to their pockets, a PF official Lemmy Bwalya has said.
Mr Bwalya applauded the PF government for continuing to empower and support people through social protection programmes despite the dwindled revenue base.
He said Government had committed itself to help citizens with sustainable programs such as social cash transfer, stimulus funds and the Farmers Input Support Program (FISP).
“Despite having negative effects that have come alongside corvid 19, our Government has committed itself to help citizens with sustainable programs such as social cash transfer, stimulus funds, contingent and FISP,” Mr Bwalya said in an interview.
Mr Bwalya said in every sector of development there were positive indicators to show how hard working the PF Government was.
