Heritage Party will improve roads, says candidate

By STEPHEN MWEWA

KASAMA Central New Heritage Party parliamentary candidate Erick Chilumba has bemoaned the poor state of most of the feeder roads in the constituency.

Mr Chilumba, who is on a door-to-door campaign, observed that farmers would face challenges to transport their produce to selling points, as a result of the bad state of roads and bridges.

He said the New Heritage Party would prioritise rehabilitating the feeder roads to promote agricultural and other economic activities in rural areas.

He was confident that he would scoop on August 12 this year and lobby for improvement of the feeder roads.

Mr Chilumba said the party’s manifesto emphasised promoting agriculture and improving the road network in all agricultural production areas so as to ease the transportation of the agricultural produce.

He has since called on the electorate to vote for his party if they were to see the kind of national development the New Heritage
Party would bring.
