ACCESS BANK EXPANDS

By BUUMBA CHIMBULU

ACCESS Bank has unveiled four branches in a bid to strengthen the institution’s network as it offers top notch financial services to customers nationwide.

This has been done after merger with Cavmont Bank.

The branches are formerly Cavmont Bank offices now rebranded as Access Bank, ultimately sealing the bank’s position as one of Zambia’s most accessible financial service providers.

The bank has therefore launched a new branch in Kalingalinga.

Speaking at the opening in Kalingalinga, Segun Kuteyi, Access Bank Executive Director said the new branch was set up to ensure that the bank fulfiled its promise of growing its retail portfolio while bringing world class financial services closer to its customers.

“It is our mission to ensure that the various facets of the Zambian economy are well serviced financially.  To do this, we must provide accessible, professionally developed financial products and services for everyone.

This is why we are building more branches to adequately serve not only our current customers but new and intending partners as well,” Mr Kuteyi said.

The event which saw the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Access Bank Zambia, Caleb Mulenga unveiling the new branch was beaming with excited customers at the prospects of having an Access Bank branch within reach.

Chilunga Chill Puta, Head Corporate Communications, Access Bank Zambia, indicated that these locations would see that the under-banked are not left out as they too could now easily access bespoke financial services tailored to suit their needs.

“There is no question that the financial needs of the average Zambian is growing, this is why we are creating more branches to accommodate these needs in the best possible way by offering new and exciting products and services specifically designed to create ease of life for Zambia,” Puta said.
