TWO MUFUMBWE CHIEFS PLEDGE SUPPORT FOR PF

TWO traditional leaders in Mufumbwe district have pledged to give support to President Edgar Lungu and Patriotic Front (PF) in the August 12 polls.

Chiefs Chief Kizela and Chief Mushima said the PF Government had delivered unprecedented development not only in the North-western province, but across the country.

The two traditional leaders were speaking when PF Presidential running mate, Nkandu Luo and her entourage called on them.

Chief Mushima said there was no need to start experimenting leadership because President Lungu has proven to be a good leader and capable to continue fostering national development.

“Doing so may plunge the country into trouble, and that is why as a royal establishment we have resolved not to start experimenting leadership,” he said.

He said he has seen extraordinary infrastructure development across the country stating that this will continue of PF was voted back into power.

And Chief Kizela congratulated the PF for scooping three wards in Mufumbwe in which candidates from the ruling party went unopposed.

“And t this shows how organized the ruling party is compared to other political parties,” he said.

Meanwhile, Prof Nkandu Luo thanked the two traditional leaders for their pledge and added that the PF has tested leadership and will continue to act on the desires of the people.
