FOOTALL Association of Zambia (FAZ) women’s premier league Solwezi-based team Dove Queens is aiming at finishing the season in the top four.
According to a statement posted on its official Facebook page, the Zambia Police sponsored side says its aim is to play in the Confederation of African Football.
“We are not leaving any stone unturned in our crusade to finish in the top four in the 2020/2021 Zambian women’s premier league season as the league resumes,” reads the statement in part.
Early this year, FAZ temporarily suspended the league due to escalating numbers of Covid-19 cases.
Meanwhile, the club has clarified that its first home game will be against Red Arrows women team commonly known as “Air Women” on September 22. This follows the memo on amendments of game schedule by FAZ.
