ATLAS MARA PROMO UPBEAT

By BUUMBA CHIMBULU

TWO houses worth over K2 million have been given away by Atlas Mara Bank under its campaign meant to empower customers with accommodation, as it encourages the use of digital channels when conducting transactions.

The Atlas Mara, Nkwashi and Lafarge ‘Dream House Promotion’ dubbed ‘3 houses, 3 Ways to Win” has seen overwhelming participation hailing from all the 10 provinces with over 250,000 customers participating in the competition since the launch of the campaign.

This campaign was borne out of appreciation for customers and to reward them for their loyalty through the years, according to James Koni who is Chief Executive Officer of Atlas Mara Bank.

This, Mr Koni said, had been demonstrated through the houses and monthly prizes offered during the campaign, and most of all the continuous investment in innovative products that delivered competitive solutions for customers.

“We are proud to say that we began this journey in 2018 by giving out the first house at the North Gate Housing Complex, then doubled it to two houses at Nkwashi Housing estate in 2019 in partnership with Thebe Investments which saw two of our customers walking away with houses,” he said when announcing the recent winners of the houses in Lusaka.

The two winners are Irene Chishipula from Chongwe and Dominic Nali from Mansa, the houses are worth K2, 2,000,000.

Mr Koni also said the campaign was momentous in that it was launched notwithstanding the economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, which on the positive had significantly contributed to the increased use of digital channels.

He said his bank was at the forefront of the digital banking evolution and that it was happy to partner with organisations that were harnessing technology to provide convenience, safety and efficiency to our customers, he further added.

“One of our goals as Atlas Mara Bank is to recognise the immense opportunities the digital revolution offers and the impact on day-to-day transactions as our customers use our products and services,” Mr Koni said.
