PF Secretary General, Davies Mwila, was yesterday questioned by the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC).
DEC public relations officer, Mathias Kamanga, confirmed the development.
He said Mr Mwila was invited for questioning and that the action was nothing unusual as it was a routine occurrence during investigations.
He said the DEC was mandated by law to pick up and question anyone it believed could help with investigations in a particular matter.
Mr Kamanga however said he could not give details on the matter as that would jeopardise investigations considering the nature of the matter.
“I can confirm that we picked up Mr Mwila for questioning yesterday,” he said.
The DEC has been accused of witch-hunt because its investigations are targeting individuals associated with the former ruling party.
The commission recently seized four vehicle belonging to former PF diehard, Maxwell Chomgu.
