Meet TMB Online TV presenters

WITH the prevailing situation of social distancing arising from the Covid-19 threat, online media has become a prominent feature to Zambian entertainment.
Artistes, celebrities and socialites are all coming to social media to keep in check with their fans and followers.
Amongst the many online entertainment platforms, Timange Ma Bondi (TMB) T V and Radio has continued to woo followers and celebrities for its Zambian content helping build new careers and stars in entertainment.
Today we shed some light on some of the individuals with entertaining shows on the TMB Online platforms. These are young and talented individuals picked raw from their communities and are now making an impact on Zambian entertainment.
August Zambia- TMB TV presenter
August Zambia as he is famously known is a Radio and TV presenter, he was born on 1st of August in Ndola.
August was raised in Kitwe where he did his secondary education at at St Francis Secondary School.
After completing his Grade 12, he moved to Lusaka until he found himself On Radio and TV . He is an actor, entrepreneur ,radio presenter/TV presenter.
His passion has always been media since childhood and he promises to turn online entertainment into something more rewarding for Zambian arts.
Currently August Zambia is with TMB TV working as a Presenter and Producer.
Chilufya Kachenga – TV Presenter 21 year-old Chilufya completed secondary school in 2015. She has always loved art right from childhood.
“I do poetry and acting too,” she says in emphasing on her main interests in life.
“I have always admired radio presenting which is why I chose to find myself in this place(TMB).
She feels TMB is the best place for her to show what she can do and for her to be a part of something new and extraordinary.
“TMB is the first online TV and radio station in Zambia so I feel I can deliver the best of me and that is what I need to be known for.”
Harriet Malupande -Presenter “In a fast moving digital world, I figured I kickstart my media career at TMB TV.
I saw an opportunity to utilise my skills in creating digital content, media production and digital marketing,” remarked Harriet who is enjoying every moment working online.
“TMB TV is an open platform for me, with so many challenges (which I believe will impact positively to my career) I’m willing and ready to take.”
Harriet was born and raised in Kabwe. She completed Grade 12 and pursued her higher education at the University of Zambia. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass- Communication.
