PF to lift all suspensions – Kamba

By SILUMESI MALUMO

I WILL lift all the suspensions imposed on members in all districts in Lusaka Province, newly elected Patriotic Front provincial chairperson Kennedy Kamba has said.

Mr Kamba said he had decided to do so to promote unity in the party.

Speaking in Kafue when he addressed PF members, Mr Kamba said there was no need to hold grudges because it would have a negative impact on the party.

He also reminded those whose suspensions would be lifted to uphold high levels of discipline.

Mr Kamba said for those whose suspensions will be lifted but continue to be indisciplined, he would take necessary action against them.

“Comrades, unity and harmony among ourselves is the key to victory come August 12. Bickering and any sort of confusion will not be tolerated. We must learn to sit down and address issues if we have any grievances.

If you are a leader at any structure within the party, let your presence of good leadership be felt by everyone. I don’t want any form of division.

“If you are a leader here in Kafue, my word to you is that let us work together. Respect for structure is of paramount importance. We are here because of the people at grassroots level,” Mr Kamba said. Meanwhile, Mr Kamba has directed district officials to ensure that the 2021 parliamentary candidate is chosen from among the aspiring candidates.

He said, he will not accept someone else to be imposed as a candidate.
