Chief Justice Mumba Malila has described the death of Serenje Magistrate Milton Suwe Nyrienda as a big loss for judiciary

By Christopher Miti-Chief Justice MUMBA MALILA has described the death of Serenje Magistrate Milton Suwe NYIRENDA, who was struck by lightning, as a big loss to the judiciary.

Justice MALILA says Magistrate NYIRENDA was an experienced adjudicator whose invaluable service and contribution to quality justice will greatly be missed.

He says Magistrate NYIRENDA’s death has come at a time when the judiciary is on a continued path of embarking on rigorous judiciary reforms, aimed at delivering timely justice accessible to all the people in Zambia.

The Chief Justice said this in a speech read for him by Chipata Principal Resident Magistrate BORNIFACE MWALA at the funeral service for Magistrate Nyirenda in Chipata today.

And Deliverance Prophecy and Salvation ministries International Prophet JIM MWEEMBA urged people to promote love and unity.

Magistrate NYIRENDA was struck by lightning together with his two builders at his plot in Chipata’s East Rise area on Thursday.

He has since been put to rest at St Anne’s cemetery in Chipata.
