AFRICOM in Zambia a concern to SADC, says Musenge

ADVOCATES for People’s Prosperity President Mwenya Musenge has challenged President Hakainde Hichilema to clear concerns raised by Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa over the establishment of AFRICOM in Zambia so that Zambia can continue to enjoy peace and harmony with its neighbours.

Mr Musenge said President Hichilema should tread cautiously on matters relating to the ties between Zambia and its neighbours especially that some opposition political leaders in some neighbouring countries are accusing him of being an agent of imperialists.

Mr Musenge was reacting to a video that has gone viral in which President Mnangagwa in a meeting with Russian President Vladmir Putin expressed concerns about the security in his country following the establishment of AFRICOM in Zambia CLICK TO READ MORE
