Tribalism has no place in Zambia

Zambians are not tribalists.

They have never been and will never be because historical exigency has dictated against it.

It is only a small group, seeking political and economic advantage that drive the ethnic narrative. Otherwise, the ordinary rural Zambian is more concerned with the day to day imperatives than power dynamics, which are often imposed during elections.

Tribalism or ethnicism by its very nature assumes ancient immutable historical hatreds, which intrude into modern society, which may generate a misconceived feeling of ethnic superiority.
