GOVERNMENT is claiming that the State is closing in on Mr Emmanuel Jay Banda, who on the night of Saturday mysteriously disappeared from Chipata Central Hospital after three months since his abduction and eventual arrest and detention for attempted murder and aggravated robbery and his whereabouts have remained unknown since then.
Chief Government spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa said the search of the lawmaker who was actually in prison before admitted to hospital was no different from any other search of any other fugitive.
