ACTION Institute for Policy Analysis Centre- AIPAC has expressed concern about reports of Vedanta Resources mistreatment of Zambian employees at Konkola Copper Mine (KCM).
AIPAC Executive Director, Solomon Ngoma has disclosed that the new Chief Operations Officer, Malcolm Mewett, has allegedly terminated contracts of long-serving employees without terminal benefits.
He has therefore stated that Vedanta’s actions were in total contradiction to their promise of creating employment and empowering Zambians.
