Zesco exit disappoint Kamanga
By BARNABAS ZULU
FOOTBALL Association of Zambia (FAZ) President Andrew Kamanga has expressed his disappointment over Zesco United’s early exit from the CAF Confederation Cup.
Zesco, a team with a strong continental pedigree, was eliminated by Zimbabwe’s Harare Dynamos, falling short of the expectations set for them this season.
Kamanga, reflecting on the club’s performance, said, “The exit by Zesco United is disappointing given their reputation as one of the continental heavies in the last few years. We were banking on our two sides to make the group stage as we battle to restore our four slots in CAF competitions.”
