Frank Bwalya accuses opposition of misleading Zambians on HH’s Constitutional lacunae

ZAMBIAN opposition leaders are misleading the public regarding President Hakainde Hichilema’s recent statements on potential constitutional issues, according to former High Commissioner to Australia, Frank Bwalya.
Mr Bwalya, representing the United Party for National Development (UPND), criticised the opposition for focusing on claims that Mr Hichilema wants to delay the 2026 elections rather than addressing the broader issues raised by the President.
President Hichilema had expressed concerns about constitutional gaps that could delay elections by up to nine years.
